Welcome to Terry A. Hickey, DDS, PS
We are a family-oriented dental practice. We offer treatment in
most areas of dentistry, including teeth whitening, preventive care, cosmetic dentistry, periodontal care, root canal treatment,
implant services, oral surgery, crowns and bridges. We offer Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) as well as ceiling mounted TVs for
entertainment. Our goal is to put our patients at ease as much as possible to make their dental experience pleasant. We pride
ourselves on patient education and informing patients thoroughly about their pending dental treatment to help them make informative
decisions regarding their dental care.
Our office is unique in that it is decorated around the theme of
music. Our front office reception desk is a mounted bass guitar. We have fun with the music theme, and it also helps put patients
at ease as it is a relaxing atmosphere. Dr. Hickey graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in
1982, and has practiced Dentistry in the Tacoma area from 1982 to the present. Dr. Hickey is a local boy, as he graduated
from Curtis High School in 1972. He is married and has two sons.
In his spare time, Dr. Hickey likes boating, fishing and an occasional
round of golf. He is a bass player in a band – Eddie Gillan's Red Roosters – which explains the RocknDoc nickname.
